CALM, CARVED, AND CUSTOM

This project began like many bathrooms do. Tight layout. Standard finishes. Nothing wrong, but nothing memorable.

The goal was not to make the room bigger. The goal was to make the room feel considered.

The design started with surface selection. Instead of relying on bold colors or decorative accents, we chose a large format textured tile with a subtle wave pattern. As light moves across the walls throughout the day, the room changes with it. The texture becomes the feature.

The walk in shower was rebuilt from the ground up with a pebble stone pan that adds natural contrast underfoot and creates a spa like grounding effect against the clean wall surfaces. A floating bench was integrated into the right wall and fully wrapped so it reads as part of the architecture rather than an add on. Across from it, a recessed niche was positioned intentionally to maintain symmetry and flow.

Matte black multi body fixtures were laid out with precision so the shower feels balanced and modern without feeling busy.

Outside the enclosure, a custom vanity in a deep charcoal finish anchors the room and provides contrast to the lighter tones. Large format floor tile ties the space together and creates a calm visual base for the entire bathroom.

Nothing in this room is accidental. Every line, surface, and detail was placed with purpose.

This is what separates a remodel from a transformation.
