FREE STANDING JAPANESE SOAKING TUB MASTER BATHROOM

This Auburn master bathroom was designed around one focal point, a Japanese style freestanding soaking tub that immediately sets the tone for the entire space.

The goal was to create a bathroom that feels less like a remodel and more like a private spa retreat. Clean white large format wall tile wraps the room to create a bright, calming envelope while a pebble accent band and matching shower niche add just enough texture and warmth without breaking the minimal aesthetic.

The walk in shower features a linear drain, a custom glass enclosure, and a curbless entry for a seamless floor transition. Small format mosaic tile on the shower floor provides both grip and visual contrast against the larger format bathroom floor tile outside the shower.

A heated towel rack, modern fixtures, and simple lines throughout the space keep the design quiet, functional, and intentional. Every material choice supports the same goal, calm, light, and easy to maintain.

The result is a master bathroom that feels custom, high end, and completely centered around relaxation, with the Japanese soaking tub acting as the unmistakable centerpiece.
