KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION, FLOOR RESTORATION, AND FIREPLACE REVIVAL
KITCHEN REMODEL | HARDWOOD REFINISHING | FIREPLACE TILE | INTERIOR PAINT
A heavy, dark kitchen and worn hardwood floors were completely reimagined without changing the footprint of the home. New cabinetry, quartz counters, custom tile, restored hardwoods, refreshed fireplaces, and a full interior repaint turned this house from dated to intentional.

VISION
We did not change the layout of this home. We changed how it feels to live in.
This project was a study in restraint and precision. No walls moved. No square footage added. Yet the home feels completely different. The original kitchen was dominated by dark espresso cabinetry, busy backsplash patterns, and finishes that visually weighed the room down. The layout worked, but the experience felt tight, dim, and dated. We kept what made sense and rebuilt everything the eye touches. The kitchen was rebuilt with white shaker uppers to reflect natural light and deep green lowers to add contrast and depth. Quartz countertops wrap the perimeter and peninsula in one continuous surface, removing visual breaks and creating flow. A soft blue tile backsplash introduces texture without noise. Brass hardware and fixtures warm the palette and give the space a custom feel without being loud. Lighting was upgraded throughout, including under cabinet illumination that changes the entire mood of the kitchen at night. At the same time, the original hardwood floors across the main level were sanded down to raw wood. Years of wear and an outdated orange tone were removed. A custom stain brought warmth, consistency, and a modern tone that now carries light from room to room. Both fireplaces were retiled and reframed to become architectural focal points rather than background features. Interior walls were repainted in tones that unify the kitchen, floors, and living spaces into one cohesive environment. The result is a home that feels larger, brighter, calmer, and more intentional without altering the footprint.
This is what happens when you change finishes with purpose instead of chasing trends.
